Before anyone had ever even heard of the small town with a population of about 5 families, there lived a farmer and his wife with his 2 children a mile away from the town.
Well one night after a hard day in the fields, the farmer came home and helped himself to a bottle of whiskey. An hour passed before his wife came home, accompanied by a handsome soldier. Enraged by this, her husband went into a b|lood thirsty rant, the soldier with his bare hands.
The woman, scared out of her wits ran to the barn where her children slept, but the husband soon found his bride. The man killed his children and then his wife but then went into a drunken sleep.
As he woke, he was greeted by the b|loodied corpses of his family, all staring wide eyed and horrified at him. Seeing what he had done he frantically pulled from his tool box his pistol and shot himself in the head.
It is said that at night you can hear the laughing of the wife as she journey's home with her male companion and then the shot of the bullet to the man's head. The ghost's of them are often seen wandering the premisis.
The people of the town all believe this frightful story and sometimes go out to see what they can, however some of the teenagers like to play tricks on the new comers, forcing them to sleep in the barn their first night....
